stupid things blog tour
at the end of march i ask people via twitter to tweet their stupid church mistakes, and got some great ones. here’s a great one that justin lathrop wrote up in his blog. for their trouble i gave away free advanced reader copies of the book. i’m going to step it up here a bit.
on june 2nd, geoff surratt is going on blog tour and you can be involved and get a free copy of the book. you can also possibly win some “10 stupid things swag”. ok, first things first: the blog tour. geoff will be asked questions by dozens of blogs and each one will post up their question on june 2nd. some of the blogs initially signed up are anne jackson, larry osborne, mike foster, todd rhoades, matthew paul turner, jon acuff, chad estes, and zach nielson. your blog can be on this list too. here’s how:
- post a comment below telling the story of a stupid thing that you have done in ministry at a church
- post your blog url in that comment
- send an email to church@zondervan.com with “10 stupid things” as the subject
ten random commentors will be chosen to participate in the blog tour and receive a free copy of ten stupid things.
even if you don’t get chosen to be in the blog tour, you can still win a free copy of the book, and some swag. the funniest stories will be chosen and you can win some fun 10 stupid things goodies, like journals, mousepads, and t-shirts. so post up those funny stupid ministry stories and get some free stuff.
